*With lift loaded, stop lift at midpoint travel and observe.
*Confirm adequacy of clearances around lift.
*Examine all structural components including welds.
*Examine electrical components and wiring.
*Check lift controls.
*Check swing arm restraints and telescopic stops.
*Check all fastening devices for tightness including floor anchor bolts.
*On lifts employing adapters, check condition & proper operation.
*With a representative vehicle on the lift, check the lowering speed of the lift.
*Check all points regarding lubrication.
*Check operation of positive step and lift locks.
*Check lifts equipped with lateral synchronization or equalization systems.
Upon completing the lift inspection, customers will be provided with the inspection report along with a quotation of any needed repairs.
After passing the ACI inspection the lift will receive an ALI inspection Sticker.
